Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, surgical suites, dental suites, and a pharmacy. John Calhoun, DVM

A 1990 graduate of Texas A&M University
Dr. Calhoun has been with North Carrollton Veterinary Hospital since 1991, and is the current owner. His special interests include endocrinology and cardiology. In his spare time he enjoys Martial Arts. He is a member of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association (DCVMA), Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Association of Veterinary Practitioners, and is presently serving on the board of directors for the DCVMA and the North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic.

Gregory Whitaker, DVM

Graduate of Texas A&M University
Dr. Whitaker joined North Carrollton Veterinary Hospital in June 2018. His special interests include opthalmology, preventative medicine, surgery, and cardiology. He loves Veterinary medicine because it strengthens the relationship between people and their beloved pets. When he is not in the clinic, he enjoys playing classical guitar, working out, cooking, and watching Aggie football.

Courtney Cox, DVM

Originally from McKinney, TX, Dr. Courtney Cox received her undergraduate degree and doctorate of veterinary medicine from Oklahoma State University. Her interests include preventative care, ophthalmology, and anything cats (don’t worry, she loves dogs too😊).
When she’s not at work, she loves being outside in the sun hanging by the pool or running, shopping, and reading. Dr. Cox is the proud mom of 3 cats- Bear, Albi, and Benny.

Ashley Beitel, DVM
Doctor
Dr. Ashley Beitel is originally from McKinney, Tx. She received her
undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and her doctorate of
veterinary medicine from Oklahoma State University. Her interests include
ophthalmology, internal medicine, and exotic pets. Outside of the clinic,
she enjoys being outdoors, cooking and baking, traveling and taking care of
her saltwater aquariums. She has 2 fur babies, a chihuahua mix named Sophie
and a cat named Calvin. -
