John L. Calhoun, DVM
A 1990 graduate of Texas A&M University

Dr. Calhoun has been with North Carrollton Veterinary Hospital since 1991, and is the current owner. His special interests include endocrinology and cardiology. In his spare time he enjoys Martial Arts. He is a member of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association (DCVMA), Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Association of Veterinary Practitioners, and is presently serving on the board of directors for the DCVMA and the North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic.

Denise Doolittle, DVM

Graduate of Texas A & M University

Dr. Doolittle previously performed relief work for our veterinary hospital in 1993 & 1994 before opening her own practice in Highland Village in 1995, which she had for 19 years. She was president of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association for 1 year and served on its board of directors for seven years. Dr. Doolittle has enjoyed returning to work again with Drs. Calhoun and King. Her special interests are internal medicine and skin and ear cases. When she is not at work she enjoys riding her two horses, one is a competition show hunter and the other she rides on the trails. She and her husband George have five rescue dogs. Khloe and Nova are Chihuahuas, Petey is a dachshund mix, Minnie is an English Pointer, and Gracie is a Terrier mix.

Dr. Gregory M. Whitaker

Graduate of Texas A & M University

Dr. Whitaker joined North Carrollton Veterinary Hospital in June 2018. His special interests include opthalmology, preventative medicine, surgery, and cardiology. He loves Veterinary medicine because it strengthens the relationship between people and their beloved pets. When he is not in the clinic, he enjoys playing classical guitar, working out, cooking, and watching Aggie football.
